British Nordic Walking Instructor Training

Nordic Walking is a versatile, sociable and inclusive outdoor fitness activity suitable for all ages and fitness levels. A whole-body exercise, using 90% of your muscle groups, it is a great way to improve physical health and fitness and mental wellbeing.

Originating in cross country skiing, Nordic Walking is popular with regular exercisers and “non-exercisers” alike, giving you the opportunity to offer a new experience to your clients and to expand into other markets.

British Nordic Walking instructors teach the internationally recognised International Nordic Walking Federation (INWA) “10 Step” method of Nordic Walking to give clients the full benefits of this full-body workout.

The Nordic Walking Instructor Course

The two-day course, supported by course materials including the INWA Nordic Walking manual, covers:

  • Teaching Nordic Walking using the INWA “10 Step” Method.
  • Using drills to improve technique and problem solve technique issues.
  • Teaching safely in an outdoor environment.
